A Mulher Falcão
Em criança (ainda antes de conseguir sequer ler as legendas) este filme era um dos meus romances favoritos.
O filme conta a história de amor entre a bela Isabeau d'Anjou e o capitão Etienne Navarre, colocados sob uma maldição: durante o dia, enquanto ele mantém a forma humana ela transforma-se em falcão, e ao por do sol é ele quem se transforma em lobo, sendo que apenas se vêm um ao outro em forma humana durante uns segundos, sem nunca se conseguirem tocar. «Sempre juntos, eternamente separados.»
A juntar à dupla romântica temos a personagem de um jovem ladrão que consegue ser o primeiro a escapar da prisão de Áquila, - Phillipe Gaston ''O Rato'' - que é de longe a minha favorita, muito devido às suas ''conversas'' com Deus, sempre super engraçadas.
Phillipe Gaston:
«Lord, I'll never pick another pocket again as long as I live. I swear it. But here's the problem: You've got to let me live. How can I prove my good faith to you? If you've heard me, this ledge will remain steady as a rock, and that thing coming at me won't be what I think it is. If it is, there's no hard feelings, of course, but I'd be very disappointed.»
